Young England fans to take over National Football Museum for Everycolour Project
South Manchester primary school pupils from the Everycolour project will be taking part in the second Everycolour Quiz on Wednesday 19 July, as part of their support for the England Women’s team at the 2017 European Championships.
Everycolour uses the popularity of football to encourage positive values that tackle discrimination. The project is supported by Kick It Out, with Hayley Bennett, Education Officer at the organisation, in attendance at the event.
Every summer, Everycolour supports the England national football team in the tournament they are taking part in. Last year they supported the men in France and will be supporting the women during this year’s major tournament.
During the quiz event at the National Football Museum in Manchester, school pupils will be scoring penalties, playing table football and doing keepy-uppy challenges, chanting and tackling questions on women’s football as they look forward to supporting the Lionesses ahead of their first game against Scotland.
The quiz winners will get their photos added to the museum’s prestigious Hall of Fame for the day.
