Sidelined to Sidelines returns for 2015
The Zesh Rehman Foundation (ZRF) will be hosting its ‘Sidelined to Sidelines’ educational day on Monday 23 February at the home of Chelsea FC, Stamford Bridge.
Zesh, the first British South Asian to play in the Premier League after making his debut for Fulham in 2004, has always had an ambition to help support more aspiring South Asians to follow in his footsteps through the work of his foundation.
The event, being run in partnership with the Chelsea FC Foundation and supported by Kick It Out, will see attendees have the opportunity to engage in a number of educational coaching workshops delivered by Chelsea FC, the Premier League and the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA), while aspiring coaches will also have the opportunity to ask their own questions to role models working in different areas of the football industry.
Space for the event is limited, and prioritised towards young people and coaches who aspire to a career in professional and/or community football in any capacity. The event will look to connect young people with role models already working within football and to highlight the skill sets, attitudes, and experiences required to work in different areas of football.
The event takes place in the Centenary Suite at Stamford Bridge between 11am and 3pm with lunch and refreshments provided. To register for FREE, please click here.
