Rangers and Celtic fans to host friendly in Peterborough
This Saturday sees the annual Rangers vs Celtic fans match take place at the Werrington Sports Centre, Peterborough.
The kick-off is scheduled for 2pm and the anti-sectarian match is supported by Kick It Out.
Celtic ran out winners in the 2008 competition, with a 5-2 victory and last year Rangers restored parity with a 4-0 success.
After the match, in true sporting spirit, both teams and sets of fans will head back to The Sports Lounge in Peterborough.
The event aims to show that both teams can exist in harmony, without the hatred commonly associated with fixtures between the two clubs.
The after-party entertainment at The Sports Lounge will include a free BBQ for players and fans from both sides, including children.
The match is free to attend, for further information, please contact Raphael Frascogna atraph@pst-uk.co.uk or on 07961 061 009.
