‘Next 20’ stars in midweek action
Swindon Town goalkeeper Wesley Foderingham kept his sixth clean sheet of season as League One’s ‘Next 20′ ambassadors were involved in midweek action.
On Tuesday (26 November), Wesley continued to underline his burgeoning reputation as his team went down to 10 men against Crawley Town and still managed to keep the hosts at bay.
Gillingham loanee Michael Harriman helped his side gain a thrilling 3-2 victory over Stevenage, whilst Walsall winger Romaine Sawyers replaced James Baxendale late on in the Saddlers’ 1-1 draw with Sheffield United.
Callum Wilson completed 90 minutes in Coventry City’s 3-0 home defeat to Rotherham United, as they conceded three goals in a 15-minute period.
Finally, Daniel Powell appeared as a second-half substitute as MK Dons lost away to Colchester United, in a game that represented their first loss to the U’s since 2010.
