Level Playing Field appoints Steph Gadd as Chief Executive
Level Playing Field has announced the appointment of Stephanie Gadd as Chief Executive. Steph joined Level Playing Field on 5 January and is a seasoned sports industry professional having worked for organisations including the Kent FA, The Football Association, UEFA, LOCOG and most recently at the 2014 FIFA Under-20s Women’s World Cup in Canada.
“I am delighted to join the Level Playing Field team as the new Chief Executive,” said Steph. “I am an avid believer in using sport to make a difference and, in partnership with the fantastic, passionate and knowledgeable team I have inherited, I look forward to developing the work of the organisation to improve access for all fans and leading Level Playing Field into a new exciting era.”
Joyce Cook OBE, Level Playing Field’s Chair, said: “We are thrilled to have appointed Stephanie Gadd as our new Chief Executive and she joins the charity at an exciting time. We’ve made some significant progress over recent years with London 2012 setting the access standards for disabled sports fans and I am very much looking forward to working with Steph as we continue to drive that legacy forward.
“Our vision is clear, the nation’s sports stadiums and venues must be fit for purpose and welcoming to all spectators, in other words, they must be inclusive venues that we can all be truly proud of. Steph’s passion for disability and inclusion, motivational management style and ability to forge new partnerships will help us greatly in our continued quest to reach that goal.”
