Kick It Out’s Rishi Jain announced as Chair of Liverpool County IAG
The Liverpool County FA (LCFA) has established a new Inclusion Advisory Group (IAG), with Rishi Jain, Kick It Out’s Football League Clubs Development Officer, announced as its Chair.
The newly formed group has been put in place by LCFA in order to focus on equality and inclusion within Merseyside grassroots football.
Following their first meeting on 7 March, the new Inclusion Advisory Group has now set out its key objectives and priorities.
Formed of key individuals and representatives based around the county, the IAG will also aim to increase the diversity of football’s talent pool, clarify the regulations related to discriminatory behaviour, and instil confidence in the reporting and handling of discrimination cases.
Rishi, who is also a member of The Football Association’s Inclusion Advisory Board, is looking to make significant progress in his new position:
“I am delighted to be announced as Chair of Liverpool County FA’s Inclusion Advisory Group.
“I hope with my understanding of equality issues through my role at Kick It Out and The Football Association’s Inclusion Advisory Board, I will be able to provide Liverpool County FA with the platform to deliver greater access to football opportunities throughout local communities.”
