Kick It Out to support Community Football League Day
Kick It Out will support the Community Football League (CFL) Day taking place on Thursday 25 May through the organisation’s Grassroots Activity Fund.
Taking place at the Chigwell Construction Stadium, home to National League side Dagenham and Redbridge, the event will see three matches take place with various age groups having the chance to play on the pitch.
The organisation is supporting the event alongside the Bangladeshi Football Association, Tower Hamlets and Impress Media.
Aroz Miah, Chair of the Community Football League, is looking forward to the event which is being supported by Kick It Out for the first time.
“The Community Football League would like to thank Kick It Out and Imrul Gazi for supporting the CFL Community day. This is a wonderful initiative which brings together different communities through the power of football.
“The young and the old will be represented from across the spectrum of our community as we will have the Under-16s final followed by a veteran exhibition and wrapping up the evening with the prestigious CFL Cup final.
“It will be a family friendly event as well. Parents will be out in their numbers to support the young players and enjoy the carnival atmosphere.”
