Kick It Out recognised on Football’s Black List for 2015
Lord Herman Ouseley and Udo Onwere have been announced on Football’s Black List for 2015, which was revealed in The Voice Newspaper on Thursday 11 June.
The initiative, which was founded in 2009 by Rodney Hinds, Sports Editor at The Voice and Leon Mann, freelance journalist who previously worked at Kick It Out, highlights the most influential individuals from the black community in the game.
Lord Ouseley, Chair of Kick It Out, and Udo, an independent Trustee of the organisation, have both been selected on the list of 30 from across different sectors of the sport including administration, coaching and management, commercial, community, media and players.
Yaya Toure, winner of this year’s Laurie Cunningham Award from Kick It Out, is also named on the list. Yaya recently visited our offices in London where he met the organisation’s staff. Click here to find out more about his visit.
