Kick It Out CEO featured in PR company’s sport journal
Kick It Out CEO Roisin Wood features in a sport journal produced by PR company Freuds to encourage debate and discussion around a variety of topical issues.
Alongside the likes of Olympic gold medallist Sir Mo Farah, Minister for Sport Tracey Crouch, cricket star Kevin Pietersen and many more, Roisin was interviewed for the seventh edition of ‘The Brewery’, which was launched at an event in London on Wednesday (6 July).
The chapter featuring a Q&A with Roisin, entitled The Power of Diversity, reflected on the work Kick It Out does to tackle discrimination in football, the evolving challenges faced by the organisation and the importance of education in helping to foster an inclusive environment at football clubs.
The launch event took place at Freuds’ offices in central London, with guests treated to a presentation about the PR company before listening to a panel discussion on trust in sport.
The panel featured high-profile members of the sport industry, such as Dan Johnson, former Director of Communications at the Premier League, Baroness Tanni-Grey Thompson, eleven-time Paralympic gold medallist and parliamentarian, Kate Richardson-Walsh OBE, captain of the Team GB gold medal-winning hockey team and Chris Kermode, Executive Chairman and President of the ATP World Tour.
