Kick It Out Annual Report 2015/16 released
Kick It Out, football’s equality and inclusion organisation, has released its Annual Report for the 2015/16 season.
The 20-page review reflects on all the key work undertaken by the organisation from July 2015 through to the end of June 2016.
This includes Kick It Out’s continued efforts with the professional game, grassroots, educational and community sectors.
Other highlights in the report include details of ‘Klick It Out’, which focused on challenging discrimination on social media during the 2016 European Championships, as well providing an update on the latest achievements of the Fans For Diversity campaign.
In the report, Lord Herman Ouseley, Chair of Kick It Out, stresses the need for all aspects of football to unite together to remove discrimination from the sport
“As we move forward, the challenge is to go on making progress with the corporate objectives of all partners in football. This is to achieve the targets set for diversity, inclusion and equality as well as prioritising action through the education of the next generation of players and spectators to be equipped to resist bigotry, prejudice and hate, thereby contributing to football being a powerful and progressive force for good.”
