Manish Bhasin to host Kick It Out's 2016 Raise Your Game conference
Kick It Out is delighted to confirm that Manish Bhasin will host the organisation’s national Raise Your Game (RYG) conference at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium on Tuesday 19 April 2016.
Troy Townsend, Kick It Out’s Education and Development Manager, who leads on the organising of the RYG series, welcomed the news.
“I’m delighted to have Manish hosting this year’s Raise Your Game Conference,” he remarked. “His outstanding work as a presenter is recognised across the world and he follows a long line of top quality presenters at the conference, such as Caroline Barker, Garth Crooks and Clarke Carlisle, who really understand the importance of the event and the impact it can have on the future of those attending.”
Manish joined the BBC in 2004 and it was there that he became one of the most recognisable faces in sports broadcasting thanks to his role as the presenter of two of their flagship programmes – firstly with Football Focus and then in 2008, he helped launch The Football League Show.
In addition to his work for the BBC, Manish presents for Premier League Productions on their overseas channels, which broadcast to 185 countries around the world.
The RYG conference offers mentees a detailed insight from mentors currently working within the football industry. Those mentors will also offer advice and guidance on developing career pathways within the game.
