Join us for our 25th Anniversary! Three roles available at Kick It Out
As Kick It Out’s recognises its 25th Anniversary in the summer of 2018, the organisation is looking to add three new members of staff to its team who work throughout the football, education and community sectors to challenge discrimination, encourage inclusive practices and campaign for positive change.
Kick It Out is funded by the Premier League, the English Football League, The Football Association and the Professional Footballers Association.
In order to effectively enhance its proactive relationships with professional clubs, Kick It Out invites applications from candidates of all backgrounds to fill the vacant post.

Position: Professional Clubs Regional Officer
Salary: £30,000
Area: Southern region
Office: Based at Kick It Out, First Floor, Whittington House, 19-30 Alfred Place, London. WC1E 7EA
Responsible to: Programmes Manager
The role of the regional officer is to deliver its professional club engagement activity within the Premier League, English Football League and Women’s Super League across the Southern region.
The successful applicant will work with both Premier League and English Football League clubs operating within the southern region. The role will be based within Kick It Out’s office, as detailed above.

Position: Events Coordinator
Salary: £34,000
Term: 2 years
Office: Based at Kick It Out, First Floor, Whittington House, 19-30 Alfred Place, London. WC1E 7EA
Responsible to: Chief Executive Officer
This new role is designed to coordinate the delivery and support the promotion of Kick It Out’s events in celebration of its 25th anniversary year.
The successful candidate will work with the Kick It Out team, its funders, Trustees and partners to successfully plan, coordinate and host a calendar of activities to commemorate the anniversary of the organisation’s existence.

Position: Media and Communications Intern
Salary: £18,500
Term: 12 month contract
Office: Based at Kick It Out, First Floor, Whittington House, 19-30 Alfred Place, London. WC1E 7EA
Responsible to: Media and Communications Manager
The media intern role looks to provide an opportunity for an individual wishing to progress in the media field of the football industry, and the successful candidate will support both the Media and Communications Manager and Officer to raise the profile of the organisation.
The role, which is a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months, will assist with the development of Kick It Out’s website and social media channels, and will input on Kick It Out’s communications strategy alongside its funders and partners within the game.
A sound knowledge of the football industry will assist the candidate to enhance relationships with contacts in both the professional and grassroots areas of the game, as well as in the media and to grasp an understanding of the issues of inequality in the industry.
