Homeless FA launch new kit for Team England 2015
The Homeless FA today unveiled the new match day kit for Team England 2015 with support from Kick It Out.
The launch of the new kit features five players from this year’s 40-strong squad of people who have experienced homelessness and will be participating in various international activities this year, including the Homeless World Cup.
Squad member Richard Jamieson said: “They look amazing, and I’m proud to be part of this whole experience.”
The white with black trim Nike home shirt and classic green goalkeeper jersey feature key sponsors The Supporter’s Club, BT Sport’s charitable initiative, and bears the logo of partner organisations Kick It Out and Copa 90.
The squad will be wearing their strip on all international duty, starting this week when 16 players jet out to Braga, Portugal to participate in the Rua de Futebol.
The Homeless FA is an affiliate partner of the Football Association, including financial support via the FA Community Shield Fund and assistance in the Homeless FA’s relationship with Nike.
The Supporters Club funding has allowed the Homeless FA to run their football training camp across 11 clubs and will support Team England on their journey to the Homeless World Cup.
