FURD set to feature in film

Football Unites, Racism Divides (FURD) has secured funding from the Media Trust’s ‘Untold Stories’ initiative to produce a short promotional film about its work. 

After a series of development meetings and consultation sessions between Eelyn Lee Productions, which is the organisation making the film, and FURD’s staff and young people, two days of filming have just taken place in Sheffield.

Speaking about the project, Eelyn Lee, who heads up Eelyn Lee Productions, enthused: “I have been genuinely impressed by the passion of the young people in their belief that they can really make a difference through FURD as well as their desire to spread their message globally so that other people can follow suit.”

The film will be shown on the Community Channel as well as online.
