Free mental health awareness courses for sport coaches
Time to Change, in partnership with the Rugby Football League (RFL), is offering free mental health training courses for sport coaches.
The training is specifically aimed at coaches and volunteers at any level, from grass roots to elite, plus people working in sports development, sports equality, physical education or sports governing bodies, and is two hours long.

The course, which is RFL Continuing Professional Development (CPD) approved for rugby league coaches, will educate attendees in the physical impact of mental health problems, mental benefits of exercise, mental health in a coaching context, practical communication tips for coaches and legal requirements of clubs.
