FARE offers opportunities to get involved ahead of Action Weeks
Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) has unveiled a series of exciting opportunities in the run-up to its Action Weeks in October.
The campaign has made available grants of up to €3,000 for groups to run activities that celebrate diversity and inclusion for all through its Football People initiative.
The funding scheme, which is open across Europe, will support innovative events that also highlight the fight against discrimination. The grants are applicable to formal and non-formal groups, with the application process open from 21 March until 15 May.
The campaign is also seeking a Campaigns Intern to work in its London offices. The position, which is for six months, will provide the successful applicant with an insight into the organisation which provides support across 43 countries in Europe.
Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have good knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as online social media. The deadline for applications is 25 May.
Finally, FARE has been running a competition since the start of April to design the artwork for the 2014 Football People sticker. The best designs could also feature across Action Weeks posters and other FARE resources throughout Europe; the deadline for the competition is 30 April.
