Ex-Villains Paul and Earl celebrate weeks of action with Home Office event in Solihull
Kick It Out’s One Game One Community weeks of action comes to the west Midlands this Thursday (18 October) as Paul Elliott and Earl Barrett host an ‘Audience With’ event for Home Office staff in Solihull.
Paul, who signed for Villa in 1986 from Luton Town is now an ambassador for Kick It Out and the Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) network. He’ll be joined by Earl, who was part of the League Cup winning side of the early 90’s and is now running a Mentoring and Leadership project aimed at unearthing the next generation of football administrators from black and ethnic minority backgrounds.
The pair will be talking about their life in the game, discrimination faced whilst playing at the top level, and their role in preaching the values and anti-discrimination in today’s game.
