Disabled organisation launch reporting competition
Disablement Association Hillingdon is inviting entries for a sports reporting competition.
The competition is open to anybody who lives or goes to school in the London Borough of Hillingdon. The person entering will have a learning or physical disability.
Report should not exceed 250 words entrants can report on any sporting match, game or event and can be any of the following:
> Any live professional sporting event at any venue. QPR at Loftus Road etc.
> Any amateur sporting event, for example a Sunday morning rugby match.
> Your own school sporting event, like a college netball match or even a school sports day.
> Any sporting event on television, athletics, boxing, dancing, ice skating.
Entries can be handwritten, computer generated or put onto tape, however it must be your own work.
Their will be 2 categories. Learning disability specific and physical/sensory disability specific.
The competitions will have prizes including tickets to local sporting events and the winning report will be published in the local Gazette newspaper.
