Charity calls on young people to help design boots for Africa
A sporting charity is offering young people the opportunity to design their own pair of football boots and help provide boots to young people in Africa.
Organisers Centre Spot are calling on youngsters aged between 6 and 16 to design their own pair of boots, with proceeds from sales of the winning design supporting the reconditioning of old boots for young people in Africa.
A team of 15 volunteers will travel to Africa this year, and distribute the boots as part of a series of coaching programmes.
This competition will offer a once in a lifetime opportunity for the winner, who will be benefiting footballers in this country, as well as disadvantaged children abroad.
The competition ends on 28th Feb 2011, and you can send your entries to Football Boots Competition, Centre Spot CIC, 97 All Saints Way, West Bromwich, B71 1RU.
