British players selected for Pakistan World Cup qualifiers
Three British players will join up with the Pakistan national team for their 2014 World Cup qualifiers with Bangladesh.
The Greenshirts have called up Adnan Ahmed, Atif Bashir and Zesh Rehman to give the squad a boost ahead of their two-legged first qualifying round tie.
Former Tranmere Rovers and Ferencvaros midfielder, Ahmed, and Barry Town defender, Bashir, are set to join up with the squad today while Rehman, who is currently playing for Muangthong United in the Thai Premier League, will be available just a few days later.
The first leg takes place on June 29 in Dhaka followed by the return match at Lahore on July 3.
The winner of the tie will face Lebanon in the second qualifying round at the end of July.
