Andy Ambler confirmed as keynote speaker at ‘Embrace Diversity’ event

Millwall FC CEO Andy Ambler will deliver a keynote speech at the ‘Embrace diversity… and build your winning team’ event at 7 Bedford Row, London, on 25 July.

The free seminar, being held in conjunction with the Work Foundation, will be attended by a host of experts across football, business and law.

Andy, who has just been appointed to the Football League board, will open proceedings at 3pm by discussing his own experiences of how diversifying a workforce can enhance the performance of a business.

He was appointed both the CEO and the Finance Director of Millwall in 2007. Since joining the Lions, Andy has played a crucial role in promoting community cohesion and diversity through various schemes run by the club.

Millwall for All, an educational programme about race relations, helped the south London outfit achieve the Intermediate Level of Racial Equality Standard in 2010.

Prior to joining Millwall, Andy worked at Fulham FC as a Finance Director in 1999. He played a major role in the planning and redevelopment of Craven Cottage after spending two years ground-sharing with Queens Park Rangers.
