AC Milan don anti-racism shirts
AC Milan wore shirts featuring a slogan showcasing their solidarity in the fight against racism when they hosted Siena at San Siro yesterday.
The gesture was made following the club’s recent friendly against Pro Patria, where a number of players were the victims of racist abuse from the home crowd, including attacker Kevin-Prince Boateng.
Boateng spoke out after the incident suggesting a stronger stand should be taken and his actions have since been praised by other players within the football community.
The 25-year-old has also admitted the racist abuse he suffered has made him question his future in Italy.
