15-year-old footballer killed in Dublin
A 15-year-old boy who took part in activities organised by Sport Against Racism Ireland was stabbed to death in Dublin last week.
Toyosi Shittabey was found lying on the street at Mount Eustace in Tyrelstown on Friday (2 April).
Toyosi was one of six children who moved from Nigeria to the Irish Republic with his family 11 years ago.
Irish police said an official from its Racial and Intercultural Office was working in the area amid concerns about tensions.
Toyosi was a participant on Insaka-Ireland AFC football Saturday sessions, developing the playing side of his game at Shels.
The directors of Insaka-Ireland extend their sympathy to the family and friends of Toyosi and pledge to continue the struggle against racism.
