Grassroots Partnership – The Voice Of Grassroots Football
Kick It Out has been working with Grassroots Football – the voice of grassroots football – to help further spread the messages of equality and inclusion across the amateur level of the sport.
About Grassroots Football
Grassroots Football is an independent, self-funded grassroots organisation that was established in 2013, which is now recognised both nationally and internationally as a leading voice for the amateur game.
“Together we stand shoulder to shoulder with the grassroots family to help improve grassroots football for everyone. Our website is a one-stop resource for anyone involved in grassroots football.”
Reporting
Kick It Out’s reporting app, available for download on iOS or Android, aims to tackle discrimination by allowing users to report any incidents they witness or suffer at any level of football.
Grassroots Football are set to release a reporting app of their own – whilst it doesn’t focus on discrimination, the app seeks to foster a culture of respect and good behaviour in football which is line with the values of Kick It Out.
The ‘Grassroots Report It’ app will allow users to report unacceptable behaviour from coaches, spectators, players, parents or anyone associated with the amateur game.
As well as tackling inappropriate conduct in grassroots football, the app also aims to celebrate good behaviour by allowing you to make positive comments too.
The app is available to download on iOS or Android devices.
One-Two Magazine
Grassroots Football’s official magazine, One-Two, is the organisation’s flagship publication which is released once a month and provides all the latest news, discussion and talking points on all things grassroots.
One-Two, which has also been endorsed by both The Football Association and the Professional Footballers’ Association, regularly features content around Kick It Out’s activities.
