Campaigning
Anti-discrimination campaigning has gone from strength to strength since Kick It Out’s inception in 1993.
Whether an issue exists within the professional game or at the grassroots level, the campaign always has a strong presence and looks to act on behalf of the communities it represents.
Taking a proactive stance in all of its campaigning, Kick It Out has produced numerous films, posters and resources to promote its work across all equality strands.
The campaign also regularly contributes to television, radio and newspaper coverage around discrimination in the game.
Being a small independent charity, Kick It Out relies heavily on the support of individuals and groups working hard across the game to promote its key messages.
Over the years, the campaign has received a large amount of backing from ambassadors throughout football, politics, the equality sector and other sports.
These high-profile figures play an invaluable role in conveying the importance of inclusion and diversity and how they enrich the society we live in.
