Roisin Wood – Chief Executive Officer
Roisin offers strategic direction and leadership to Kick It Out. She works closely with the Board of Trustees and is responsible for the programme delivery, campaigning activities and personnel management of the organisation.
A key aspect of her role is to develop and manage stakeholder relations across the government, charity, football, corporate and community sectors.
Keeley Baptista – Programmes Manager
Keeley oversees and co-ordinates the delivery of all agreed work programmes at Kick It Out, ensuring thorough and robust impact assessments are delivered against them.
She also oversees all Kick It Out planned events and co-ordinates impact assessments reports on each, as well as providing support to the Director and deputising in her absence.
Priya Ganesan – Finance & Administration Manager
Priya monitors Kick It Out’s finances and manages these within the constraints of its budget. She holds the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification.
The main elements of her job involve keeping the organisation’s invoices up-to-date, supervising the distribution of resources and ensuring the campaign’s procedures comply with Company and Charity Law.
Troy Townsend – Education Manager
Troy supports aspiring individuals looking to break into the football industry by delivering mentoring conferences and supplying work placements both regionally and nationally.
A key part of his work is addressing gaps in representation across all areas of the game. He delivers equality and diversity workshops to English Football League (EFL) scholars with the League Football Education (LFE).
Paul Mortimer – Professional Players Engagement Manager
Paul works with current and former professional footballers to bring them closer to the activities facilitated by Kick It Out.
A core part of his role involves gaining a better understanding of the real issues affecting players and allowing them to feed into the delivery of the campaign’s future strategies.
Robert Brown - Events Coordinator
Samantha McLeod – Reporting Officer
Samantha deals with all reports of discrimination in professional and grassroots football. She implements and enhances reporting processes and procedures in both areas of the game.
She works closely with football’s governing bodies to help reduce the risk of incidents occurring through training, communication and the further promotion and development of reporting mechanisms.
George Starkey-Midha – Media and Communications Officer
George supports with requests from journalists, makes changes to the website, as well as leading on a number of communication-related projects, including creating and executing ideas on social media.
He liaises with all departments within Kick It Out to ensure that the site remains current while keeping an eye across all sports for examples of best practice within social media, inclusion and diversity.
Osei Sankofa - Education Officer
Overseeing the Education Programme, Osei visits communities, schools, colleges and universities nationwide delivering workshops to provide young people with the confidence to challenge discrimination in the game.
Osei collaborates with Southampton Solent University to deliver The Equality and Diversity Awareness in Football Award, an online course aimed at professionally developing employees of the football industry. He also leads on the organisation’s young ambassador programme, A.S.P.I.R.E. (Ambassadors Supporting and Promoting Inclusion, Respect and Equality), providing opportunities for young people to work towards becoming future leaders in the football industry.
Lucy Oliver - Professional Clubs Regional Officer (Northern)
Lucy is Kick It Out’s contact for professional clubs in the north, supporting them to develop and enhance their equality and inclusion work across all areas of the club.
Lucy assists clubs in achieving the Premier League’s Equality Standard and the EFL’s Code Of Practice, focusing on both internal and external equality practices and policies.
Crystal Davis - Raise Your Game Cooordinator
Crystal’s primary role is to help with the operational activity for the Raise Your Game series.
Maamun Hajmahmoud - Resources and Administration Assistant
Maamun handles the organisation’s resources as well as supporting the Finance and Administration Manager in the smooth running of the day-to-day operation of Kick It Out.
Maamun controls resources helping to coordinate the logistics for dedicated games and events.
